Suitable are the Löher taper and deburring countersinks with a maximum diameter of 7 mm. The countersink must have a very small head because the clear width at the top of the Aweso T-track is only 8.2 mm. It is therefore a good idea to drill additional countersunk holes between the existing ones and near the track ends. This means that under tension the track may lift off the slot in the worktop. ![]() The 200 mm spacing of the countersunk holes is slightly too wide and often the holes are not near the end of the track. Screw heads with this diameter will be perfectly countersunk and the relatively thick oval slide nut will not catch anywhere. That is why we recommend you use 3.5 mm diameter coutersunk screws. Tip: The countersunk holes at the bottom of the Aweso T-track are spaced 200 mm apart. If you are going to mount a 10 mm thick board (not part of the set) between the toggle clamp and the worktop you will need the 20 mm long socket head screw. For this application you need an oval and somewhat wider slide nut and the 10 mm long socket head screw. ![]() The same fixing method can also be used for Aweso T-tracks. Newer Bessey toggle clamps have a central hole in the base plate that allows them to be fixed to multifunction tables.
